Every harvest begins with people. This year, the families of Inzá gathered at dawn to open the picking season, as they have done for generations, and this time with a shared plan for the months ahead.
A season built together
More than [number] families from [number] farms took part in the first week of picking. Each one brought its own rhythm and knowledge: when a cherry is truly ripe, how to sort by hand, and how to care for the soil that feeds the crop.
«The harvest is not only coffee. It is the moment the whole community meets.» — [Name], producer, Inzá
What we are working on
- Fair and transparent prices agreed with producers before the season starts.
- Training in selective picking to improve cup quality and reduce waste.
- Shared processing spaces so smaller farms can reach the same standard.
Looking ahead
The coming weeks will bring the first lots to the mill and the first tastings. We will keep sharing field notes, milestones and results here, so you can follow the harvest as it unfolds.
